Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their incredible resilience, curiosity, and potential. They inspire me every day with their dedication and enthusiasm. But I also know that their success in the classroom goes beyond just academics. I need to address their basic needs and comfort to support their learning and growth.

I aim to create a more supportive and focused learning environment by addressing their basic needs like nourishment.

I hope these resources will improve their current experience and foster a sense of care and community that encourages them to reach their full potential.

Providing nutritious snacks will help my students stay energized and focused during lessons. I’ve seen how hunger can distract them and make learning difficult. By ensuring they have access to healthy snacks, I hope to reduce these distractions and show them that their well-being matters. This small gesture can make a big difference in their concentration and engagement in class. We also need paper goods, plastic utensils and dish detergent because we also provide students with food during celebrations for special occasions.
