This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am thrilled to support my incredible students with this project, "Fueling Minds: Empowering Students Through PBIS and SEL." My students are bright, eager learners who consistently inspire me with their enthusiasm and determination to succeed. Each of them brings unique perspectives and talents to our classroom, creating a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.

The resources I am requesting will make a significant impact on my students' learning experience.

By providing snacks for our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) store, we will encourage positive behavior and reinforce the importance of making good choices. These snacks serve as incentives for students to stay engaged, motivated, and focused on their academic and personal growth.

Additionally, the materials for our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) class period will help students develop crucial skills such as empathy, self-awareness, and emotional regulation. These resources will allow us to create interactive and meaningful activities that foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe to express themselves and learn from each other.

My primary goal for this project is to enhance my students' social-emotional development and support their academic success through positive reinforcement and targeted SEL activities. I aim to create a classroom atmosphere where students are motivated to excel academically and grow as compassionate and resilient individuals.

What makes my students truly special is their willingness to support one another and embrace diversity. They are not just classmates; they are a community that celebrates differences and values collaboration. Their kindness, creativity, and curiosity make our classroom a joyful and inspiring place to learn.
