Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach an amazing group of energetic and curious students at a Title I school, where the majority of our families face economic challenges. Despite these obstacles, my students come to class eager to learn and give their best every day. Their resilience and determination inspire me to create a classroom environment that nurtures both their academic and personal growth.
The materials I’m requesting will make a significant impact on my students' learning experience.
Laminating pouches will allow me to create durable, reusable resources that support independent practice and small group instruction. Pocket protectors will help my students stay organized and take ownership of their work. Crayons will encourage creativity and allow students to express their ideas through art and writing. PE equipment will promote teamwork, cooperation, and healthy habits, giving my students much-needed movement breaks that boost focus and engagement in the classroom. Additionally, cleaning supplies will help maintain a safe and hygienic learning environment, ensuring that my students have a clean space where they can thrive.
My goal for this project is to provide my students with the tools they need to feel confident and prepared, both academically and socially. By creating an organized and engaging classroom, I hope to foster a love of learning and a sense of responsibility among my students.
What makes my students special is their determination to succeed, their kindness toward one another, and their excitement for learning. They deserve a classroom that reflects their potential and supports their growth.
