Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To help all students make up ground lost to learning loss during the pandemic, some students need extra help and academic services. In order to help students make those achievements, we open our classrooms to students for extra tutoring and review in the afternoons when class has ended. Because we are extending the school day for students, they need access to food and drinks to help fuel their bodies through the long academic day.

We want to get snacks and drinks for our students to keep them fueled and ready to learn the entire day.

The drinks and snacks that we have chosen are brands and types of food that students both enjoy and are on the healthier side of snack options. This way we can keep our students fueled, hydrated, and healthy while they are in tutoring and in extra support sessions.
