My Project

I teach an incredible group of special education students at a high-needs school where resources are limited, but enthusiasm for learning is endless. My students work so hard every day, overcoming challenges with determination and resilience. However, hunger and lack of access to snacks can make it difficult for them to stay focused and engaged. That’s why I’m reaching out to you—to help provide snacks that will not only fuel their learning but also serve as motivation and positive reinforcement in the classroom.

The snacks I am requesting will make a significant difference in my students' learning experience.

Many of them come to school without breakfast or struggle to make it through the day without a small boost of energy. A simple granola bar, crackers, or fruit snack can help them concentrate, stay engaged, and feel cared for. I also use snacks as rewards for hard work and good behavior, and the joy on their faces when they earn a treat is priceless. It reinforces positive behaviors and gives them something to look forward to, making our classroom a supportive and encouraging environment.
