This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of the students in my class rely on the school breakfast and lunch programs to receive their nutrition and energy for the day. As one student told me, he eats nothing when he gets home.

In order to ensure that the students are still able to eat a little something during the weekends and during the times when schools are closed, I am aiming to provide them with some essentials that will enable them to get the nutrition and energy that they need to progress through the school day.
