My students need fascinating, stimulating technology and engineering materials LIKE LEGOs, Zoob, snap circuits and a gravity maze to help them move forward in their careers.

My Students
The students in this urban/suburban school all have Individual Learning Plans and we have an 87% free and reduced lunch rate.
The students in my school are a diverse bunch of 16-22 year old young women and men preparing for their careers.
This unique learning center enables students to get hands-on practice in their chosen career with coursework and field internship opportunities. The students are interested in a variety of careers, and many have expressed an interest in the STEM fields.
My Project
You may wonder how will the LEGOs, K'nex, Snap Circuits, Maze Logic, Zoob Car Designer, STEM Mechanics Wheels and Axles help my students.
These items will help my students develop the prerequisite skills of logic and reasoning necessary to move forward in a STEM career.
For example, the Code Master Programming Logic game will help my students learn intro coding. Through this exposure, some students might choose to go into the software industry. Since my students have limited opportunities for this type of pre-career exposure, the materials, I am requesting, will make a big difference in the futures of my students.
