My Project

The allowance of having soft lighting in the classroom for students is important because often times, students will complain that they have a headache. Having lamps in the room to mitigate the use of overhead, florescent lighting.

Students will often ask to move to a more comfortable area in the room for independent work, by having flexible seating will allow them to have a choice.

Having a corner for silent or partner work is often requested by students.

Encouraging items, such as jolly rancher awards fuels the participation in large group discussion, as well as random encouraging rewards. Additional items, such as a world map rug and inspirational posters allows for students to analyze and recognize well-known figures from history.
