My Students

My school is small but mighty! We serve one of the highest population of students with disabilities in our district, but this does not stop our scholars!

Our students are charismatic, hardworking and determined to learn.

Each day students come into the classroom with bigs smiles and lots of questions. They work together as a class community to build character, learn and grow into the best students they can be. My students love to read and make sense of the world around them despite their struggles.

My Project

Due to the busy school cafeteria schedule my students are scheduled to each lunch each day at 1:20, which-is a long time from breakfast! We often notice our eager scholars shut down mid day. When asked why they are why students why they are so disengaged they simply say, " we are hungry".

Helping provide snacks to our classroom will help our students focus on whats important... learning!

Teachers and families have been helping provide snacks but our supplies have ran out

and many families can not continue to provide snacks.

With these snacks we will be able to proved the fourth grade classes with healthy snack options to keep thier minds working and them energized until snack time.
