Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I kindly request your assistance in funding snacks for my 8th-grade dual language classroom, which serves a diverse group of language learners. It is crucial for these students to have access to nutritious snacks to enhance their focus during the school day. Many of students may not have had the opportunity to eat breakfast/lunch or may be experiencing hunger, which can hinder their ability to engage fully in their learning. Providing options such as Cliff Bars, fruit strips, and Tic Tacs can significantly support their concentration and overall classroom performance.

Your support in this initiative will not only address the immediate nutritional needs of my students but will also contribute to fostering a more conducive learning environment in our dual language setting.

Ensuring that our language learners have access to these snacks is vital for their overall well-being and academic success, as it allows them to participate more effectively in lessons and discussions. I appreciate your consideration of this important request and the impact it could have on my students' educational experience. Thank you for your support.
