My Project

Queens, New York is the most diverse place in the world. While trying to learn another language, I am in need of a fast means of communication. Help make my encounters with students and families more successful with the use of a pocket translator to assist during sessions with students and meetings with families. Being a Title I school, often our students come into the school building tired and hungry. Having snacks and a comfortable environment for them will have them power through their day. By supplying the counseling office with a large bean bag chair, students will have a place to decompress and take a break from their everyday stressors. Fuel for their mind and a calm, clean, and cozy space will help support their high school experience in the counselor’s office. The students at our school are frequent flyers in the guidance office. These items would make their hardships a tad bit easier. They are truly amazing kids.
