My Project

Help me give my students a calm and safe place to go when they need a break or need to regulate their feelings. Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) tools will have a positive impact in my kindergarten classroom by helping students build essential skills like self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation.

These tools - bean bag chairs, rug, timers, sensory items and more - provide interactive, engaging activities that foster a supportive learning environment where children can express their feelings, understand others, and resolve conflicts peacefully.

SEL promotes positive behaviors, boosts confidence, and encourages collaboration. By incorporating SEL into daily routines, students will develop a strong foundation for emotional well-being and academic success, setting them up for a lifetime of positive relationships and personal growth.
