My Project

Fetal pig dissection benefits high school students by providing hands-on learning about mammalian anatomy, enhancing their understanding of organ systems, and fostering scientific inquiry. It closely parallels human anatomy, making it a valuable educational tool for understanding biological structures and functions.

Dissection can spark interest in medical and biological careers, enhance engagement in science, and develop critical thinking skills while also offering a platform to discuss the ethical implications of scientific research.

As sophomores, students asked all last school year if they could dissect in my Biology classes next year as juniors. By donating to my project, you will be helping me to make that dream come true for them. Your contribution will help to ensure my students have valuable learning experiences that go beyond textbooks, preparing them for future academic and professional success. They will be beyond grateful for this opportunity!
