My Project

Post-COVID, my school has noticed a literacy gap in our younger grades. Specifically in 6th, we want to ignite their love for reading through engaging and exciting books. We are looking to put some more zest into our library.

It is backed by statistics, that the more kids read, the more access they will have to job opportunities post-graduation!

It's my job as an educator to foster their love for reading with as many books and options as I can find. This includes titles such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Bad Guys, and The Lunar Chronicles. Now is the time to instill that love of learning, so that they can choose whatever career path speaks to them!
