My Project

We need books!

Post-COVID, my school has noticed a literacy gap in our younger grades.

Specifically in 6th, we want to ignite their love for reading through engaging and exciting books. Our budget has declined over the years, but we want to add more zest to our library.

Kids deserve a chance to fall in love with literacy. It's my job as an educator to foster that love with as many books and options as possible. It is backed by statistics that the more kids read, the more access they will have to job opportunities post-graduation! Now is the time to instill that love of learning so they can choose whatever career path speaks to them!
