This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Providing soccer balls to my team will make a big difference in how we practice and improve. With enough balls, each player can focus on developing their skills like dribbling, passing, and ball control during drills. It will also help us work better as a team, improving communication and teamwork during practice. Having the right equipment will build confidence and better prepare us for games. Plus, having soccer balls will motivate players to practice outside of team sessions, helping everyone improve individually and as a team. Your goal for this project is likely to ensure that every player on your team has access to the necessary equipment, specifically soccer balls, to enhance their skills, teamwork, and overall performance. By providing soccer balls, you aim to improve practice efficiency, increase player engagement, and foster a sense of responsibility and ownership in their development. Ultimately, your goal is to create a more cohesive, confident, and well-prepared team, both on and off the field. My kids are special for this project because they are passionate, dedicated, and eager to learn. Despite limited resources, they show a strong commitment to improving their soccer skills and for the time in 25+ years, and my first year coaching them, they made it to semi finals and working together as a team. They bring a unique energy and enthusiasm to every practice, and their resilience and determination inspire me every day. This project is important because it will give them the tools they need to reach their full potential, not just as athletes, but as individuals who understand the value of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Their drive to succeed, even with limited resources, makes them incredibly deserving of the opportunity to have the right equipment and support.
