My Students

Do you know that reading books help you to travel to places beyond your wildest dreams? Reading takes you on a journey beyond your wildest dream. The younger a child starts to read, the easier reading gets. Children who are exposed to lots of reading uses more vocabulary than those who read less.

My students are from low income families.

Many parents depend on our services to help educate their children. Some of my students have limited English vocabulary and the more books they read, the better they are able to communicate. The students attend a Children's Center that is being operated in California.

My Project

The resources I am requesting will help students to expand on prior knowledge. I will guide students on how to adequately use books in order to obtain the best positive results they can achieve. Students will learn to have a greater appreciation for books that will enable them to increase their cognitive abilities, expand their language abilities, improve their reading and social skills.

My project will bring the library to the classroom.

Many of my parents worked long hours each day in order to support their family. Some parents are too tired after work to read to their children. This project will help teachers and parents to help children achieve success in many challenges in life. With the help of your donation, we will be able to help children to develop a love for reading and to have a positive attitude towards life challenges.
