Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Embarking on a mission to ignite a lifelong passion for literature and language in my students, I am reaching out to compassionate donors like you, whose support in providing essential supplies will empower and transform their educational journey. Sharpies become invaluable tools for crafting visually engaging charts, graphs, and diagrams, reinforcing lessons. The hot glue gun to help post up our anchor charts and student work. For immigrant students lacking basic supplies, providing notebooks empowers them to take ownership of their learning journey, fostering critical thinking and academic progress as they jot down questions, thoughts, and ideas.

As an English teacher dedicated to nurturing my students' love for literature and language, your support in providing essential supplies like staples, Kleenex tissues, Sharpies, notebooks, a hot glue gun, a desk calendar, and pencil holders for active participation will have a profound impact on inspiring a new generation of passionate readers, expressive writers, and critical thinkers.

The desk calendar serves as a visual aid for local and foreign students alike, keeping them informed about important school events, holidays, and extracurricular activities. This promotes a sense of community and inclusion, ensuring all students feel involved and welcome. Moreover, a pencil holder instills organization and responsibility, making students feel more at ease as they quickly adapt to the classroom routine. By strategically utilizing these resources, I aim to create an inclusive, interactive, and supportive learning environment that celebrates each student's individuality while nurturing their collective growth and academic success.
