My Project

Last year we started an indoor garden with two farmstands to grow fresh vegetables and herbs. This year we want to elevate our garden. Our goal is to take our fresh produce straight from the farmstand and create some simple, but healthy dishes for our students and also invite their parents in to join them.

Imagine a classroom filled with enthusiastic students ready to dive into the world of cooking, but lacking the proper attire to protect their clothing.

That's where aprons come in! We are requesting aprons for our students because they play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe cooking environment.

We want an Instant Pots because they are renowned for their speed and efficiency in cooking. They can significantly reduce the time required to prepare a wide range of dishes, making them ideal for classroom settings where time is often limited. This will allow my students to engage in hands-on cooking activities without spending excessive amounts of time waiting for food to cook.

The measuring cups are foundational tools in culinary education. This will help teach my students the importance of precision in the kitchen, a fundamental principle in the culinary world.
