My Students

My students are independent, self-thinking, compassionate learners. My students are energetic children who need the ability to move and change their settings while learning. They come from diverse backgrounds with many different needs. My students are the future citizens of their community who have a passion for learning and making the world a better place.

My Project

My fourth grade science students are striving to become the next scientists and need materials to help convert their learning from theoretical to practical. My students need a rock tumbler kit in order to learn, explore, and classify the different types of rocks in a hands on way. This kit will allow the students to see how rocks can be "cleaned", polished, and shined to become a treasure!

I want to allow my students to learn and study igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks in a way that they will remember and understand; with these supplies, we will be able to look closer at rocks, and dig deeper into the changes that Earth has gone through over the years!
