Help me give my students live caterpillars, books and materials to support their science education.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Corey's classroom raised $256

My Project
One of the most exciting experiences for our young scholars each year is watching the life cycle of Painted Lady Butterflies! We are in need of cups of caterpillars and some learning materials to guide our learning.
Scholars will each have the opportunity to create their very own wearable wings!
Of course, we learn about the concept of symmetry when painting our wings! The scholars will use the costumes to "become" the butterfly as well as the crawl and calm resistance tunnel to pretend to be a caterpillar. The tunnel serves not only as a caterpillar, but a classroom tool to help scholars whose little bodies crave additional sensory input. The books and manipulatives only enhance the overall life cycle experience.
