Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In this Dual-language classroom, my students come from a Title I school, in the south Bronx. With us leaving abruptly and unsure of future abilities to teach in the classroom. I feel the need to prepare myself and design a distance learning classroom, comparable to our room at school.

My Project

I love reading and I try to bring the joy I feel when reading to them. Using big books will allow students to get a better visual of the books characteristics.

When using the big whiteboards and reusable writing paper allows me to jot down information from text and/or strategies being used.

This allows me to write direct information and then transfer onto a paper chart and hang in a chart organizer. This will allow for easy reference online and the ability for an easy transport back into the classroom.
