Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The beads, letters, and colorful options I am requesting will make a meaningful difference in my students' learning by fostering creativity, collaboration, and self-expression. By making bracelets, students will engage in a hands-on activity that encourages fine motor skills, patience, and focus. The variety of materials will allow every student to create something unique and personal, making the experience more inclusive and enjoyable for all. This project will also provide an opportunity for students to work together, share materials, and express themselves through their designs.

My goal is for students to create bracelets for their fellow 6th-grade classmates, promoting kindness and connection as they prepare to transition to middle school.

This activity will encourage them to share, collaborate, and strengthen friendships while spreading positivity. What makes my students special is their love for bringing joy to others, and this project will reinforce their natural generosity while helping them develop important social-emotional skills. Through this creative process, they will learn the value of giving, empathy, and the power of small gestures to brighten someone’s day.
