My Project

The Week of Respect is October 2 - 6, 2023. During this week our school student and executive councils will be creating videos and activities that encourage students and staff to respect others, our school, our community, and ourselves.

During the Week of Respect we will be hosting after school friendship bracelet making hours where students and staff members can come create friendship bracelets using the provided supplies.

At the end of the week, on Friendship Friday, we will host the culminating event in which those who made bracelets, whether at school or at home, are welcome to come trade bracelets with one another while enjoying refreshments and music.

This idea was inspired by Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour in which fans make and trade bracelets at each concert. This act has inspired our student councils to create this event so that students can have fun while demonstrating their pledge to respect each other by trading bracelets.
