My Project
We have the most incredible students and families at our school! They are engaged learners and curious thinkers. As our elementary school social worker, it is my priority to help our 600+ students develop strong friendship and social skills, learn to manage emotions effectively, and to ensure they have their basic needs met.
We will be creating a program to provide food, clothing, and hygiene items directly to families, particularly those hit hard by COVID.
We need to purchase storage bins to keep these basic needs items onsite. We also continuously support student's social and emotional development through A Little SPOT books, games, and opportunities to build friendships. We need games and supplies for small social skills and friendship groups.
