My Project

Flexible seating allows students to take make choices in their learning environment and decide what works best for them. Currently, my students do not have many flexible seating options. Therefore, they sit on the floor or stand behind their desk. I would like to get rid of the desk and offer a variety of seats for the students to choose what fits best for them. These seats will be placed at tables of different sizes. If the floor is more comfortable for a student, they can sit on floor mats and have a lap tray or clipboard. Making sure students are comfortable and giving them choices is critical in motivating them to learn and feel safe in their learning environment.
