My Project

This coming school year I will be teaching 8th grade special education. I am excited to move up with my students and be able to teach them for another year. These students are receiving support in my classroom for reading and math. My focus is to work with these students on their reading and math skills so they feel confident to enter high school the following year.

The supplies that have been selected will go to help support the math and reading skills of each of my students.

We will use the books to help us practice reading and comprehending novels. The binders, pencils, pencil pouches, and folders will be used to help the students stay organized with all of their different classes they will be taking. Colored pencils, composition notebooks, dry erase markers, sticky notes, sheet protectors, and scissors are supplies for my classroom to help support my teaching and the students learning. The envelopes will help support me and my communication with parents involving student's IEPs. The math and vocabulary resource books will help support my teaching and give students fun activities to work on their skills. Finally, the math games will help support students math skills by having them play these games in small groups.
