My Project

Everyone wants to start the school day feeling fresh and clean with a satisfied belly, but not every student has the opportunity to start the day that way.

Oftentimes students need an oral hygiene kit, a face towel, deodorant or a fresh shirt or a pair of socks to feel confident.

Most days my students wake up early to catch the school bus and ride over an hour to get to school, many students get on the bus in a hurry and might have missed the chance to brush their teeth or wash their face, not to mention missing breakfast!

I would like to create a Fresh Start station at our school where students can stop by in the morning to pick up clean clothing items, hygiene items, or a quick snack because everyone deserves a fresh start everyday.

Ms. Willis The Learning Center Grades 9-12
