My Project

Access to personal hygiene items is often taken for granted, yet for many students in low-income areas, it can be a significant challenge. Without these essentials, students may face discomfort, embarrassment, and even health issues. By providing access to personal hygiene items, this year I aim to alleviate these burdens, allowing students to focus on their education with confidence and dignity. Ensuring that students have access to items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and feminine hygiene products not only promotes physical well-being but also fosters a sense of belonging and inclusion within their school community. With these basic necessities readily available, students can attend classes feeling clean, refreshed, and ready to learn, breaking down barriers to their academic success. In the list, you will see multiple hygiene items along with drawers to store these items discreetly to make access easy for my students.

These items may take off a burden the students may endure.

The set of drawers and storage organizers will help keep these items discreet. My goal is to take their focus from what they don't have to focus on their academics.

There are also a few school supplies items that I will be using throughout the year that need to be replenished such as crayons, scissors, etc.
