Fresh Start: Personal Hygiene Essentials for High Schoolers
Help me give my students deodorant, underwear, toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash, body spray, feminine wipes and flushable wipes for our comfort care closet.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Each new school year brings a new set of students, a diverse learning environment and an eagerness from students to learn. I want my students to know they are loved, welcomed and valued and they don’t have to worry about anything. As an educator, I cannot overemphasize the significance of personal hygiene items such as sanitary pads, undergarments, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, body spray, feminine wipes, and flushable wipes for high school kids. These goods are not solely concerned with hygiene; they also have a vital impact on a student's holistic well-being and self-confidence.
When students are provided with these vital resources, they have a heightened sense of ease, self-assurance, and preparedness to actively participate in the educational journey.
Maintaining good hygiene can help avoid distractions arising from physical discomfort or humiliation, so enabling students to concentrate more effectively on their academic pursuits. By ensuring that our children have access to these fundamental essentials, we are promoting their well-being, self-respect, and educational achievements.
