This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the beginning of the year, before their first day of school, students are excited to get a glimpse of their new classroom. This space is where they will spend majority of their time each week, so of course they are eager to see it. I want to be able wow my students with our classroom at meet the teacher and create a space that will get them excited to start their year in first grade!

Help me create a beautifully decorated classroom that will give my students an exciting first impression to start their school year off!

I switched schools last year and had personally purchased items to decorate the new classroom. Due to maintenance issues, I had to switch classroom in the middle of the year and had to discard the majority of my classroom decorations. I would like to turn that loss into an opportunity to purchase items to start fresh with a new classroom theme that would create a beautiful learning space that is inviting and comforting for my students!
