Fresh-Smelling Start!

Help me give my students the confidence of a fresh-smelling, back-to-school experience, so that body odor is not a learning hindrance for others.

My Project

We are in a very large county of Montana, where many Native American students and ranch kids gather for school in the town of our county seat. Our students come from a very diverse population. We are located just a mile away from the Crow Reservation, and several miles from the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. Our student body is over 85 percent Native American.

Many students at the high school, especially from the freshman class, struggle with their personal hygiene, especially body odor.

This of course is common for that age. I would like to give any student in my classroom (that would be accepting of it), a deodorant of their own. This would help build their confidence in school, thereby diminishing one of the hindrances of learning for everyone. This would be a great way to start the year off right! We would so much appreciate your giving to this project!
