My Project

Gifted students often exhibit unique social and emotional challenges, exacerbated by their advanced cognitive abilities. While they excel academically, these students may encounter difficulties in peer interactions, social cues, and emotional regulation. Social-emotional literature can serve as a valuable resource in addressing these needs.

This project encompasses a diverse collection of books that align with curricular objectives and provide supplementary support for gifted learners.

Students have responded positively to the Slumberkins stories shared in class. Based on their engagement, I anticipate a similar enthusiastic reception for the LifeHacks Ninjas books. Cryptids will serve as a central theme for this spring's curriculum for my younger students.
