Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fifth graders come to school eager to learn, but often times don't have the means to supply the basic items necessary to set them up for success. I aim to change that with this project.

I don't want my kids and their families to stress about basic supplies like pencils, paper, crayons, and folders and I want to help them learn how to keep their belongings organized within the classroom.

They will be heading to middle school next year so this is their last year in the protective environment of elementary school. I want to send them off with not only the academic and social emotional skills they need, but also the organizational skills that are so essential.

Please help me help my kids start out fifth grade prepared with all their essentials, regardless of their family's financial situation.
