My Students

My students are from NY. We are a Title I school, and the basic principle of Title I is that schools with large concentrations of low-income students will receive supplemental funds to assist in meeting students' educational goals. With that being said, my students are the most grateful people I have ever met! When they get to use supplies that maybe they don't have at home, it's an exciting feeling!

In class, we often get to use clay, paint, and paper mache.

It is a great feeling for both the students and me to know they have the items they need to complete a project. The children really do benefit from hands-on activities. The students are eager to share their projects with you.

My Project

I am requesting some new bulletin board paper for the new year. This type of paper is called "better than paper" it is better quality and last longer than the regular bulletin board paper that we usually use. This is reusable and more effective as far as saving money.

The paper, pennants, and borders will be used to display students' work and projects that they created and will create throughout the year.

The bulletin board that we have a is a large screen that the entire school can view the work that is put up.
