Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am incredibly proud of my students and the resilience they show, navigating not just their studies but the challenges life throws their way. Many of them are dealing with difficult circumstances at home and in their communities, which can make it hard to focus on schoolwork or maintain a positive self-image.

This project is all about showing them that they matter and deserve to feel good, inside and out.

By providing self-care kits, I am creating an opportunity for students to practice self-love, gain confidence, and take care of their well-being.

How Each Resource Helps:

Freeman Facial Love To Mask Variety Pack: Students can use these masks to de-stress and engage in a relaxing activity that promotes self-care. It’s a reminder that taking time for themselves is important.

Boho Floral Headpieces & Crowns: These accessories are more than just cute they’re a symbol of self-expression and empowerment. By wearing them, students can feel like they are stepping into their own strength and beauty, whether it's for a class event or just for fun.

Natural Lip Balms (120 count): These lip balms are practical but also symbolic. They show students that we care about the small things like their health and comfort. It’s an everyday item that reminds them they are worth investing in.

Inspirational Keychains: The messages on these keychains will be a daily reminder that they are enough. In times of self-doubt or stress, they can look at their keychain and remember they have the power to overcome challenges.

Makeup and Cosmetic Bags with Encouraging Messages: These bags will help students keep their self-care items organized, while also carrying a message of encouragement.

Empowerment & Encouragement Banners: These banners will brighten up our classroom and event space, providing constant reminders of strength, resilience, and community.

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus
