My Project

In my 3rd grade classroom, I want to ensure that every student has the tools they need to feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn each day. Good hygiene plays a vital role in a child’s self-esteem, health, and ability to focus in school. Unfortunately, not all students have access to basic hygiene products which can impact their well-being and classroom experience.

With your support, I would like to provide each of my students with their own personal hygiene kit to keep at school.

These kits will help them develop healthy habits and feel their best throughout the day. Each kit will include:

Toothbrush, Toothpaste & Mouthwash – These items encourage daily oral hygiene and fresh breath, helping students feel more confident when speaking and smiling.

Deodorant – As kids grow, they begin to experience body changes. Providing deodorant helps them learn and maintain proper hygiene habits.

Wet Wipes – Wipes provide a quick and easy way for students to freshen up during the day, helping them feel clean and comfortable.

Lotion & Chapstick – These will help prevents dry skin and chapped lips, especially during colder months, so students can focus on learning without discomfort.

Hand Sanitizer – This is a simple yet effective way to keep hands clean, especially after recess, lunch, or using shared materials.

3-Ring Pencil Pouch- Pencil pouches provide an easy way to store the personal hygiene items.

Each student will have their own kit stored in the classroom, allowing them to discreetly access what they need without worry. These kits will not only support their physical well-being but also teach them the importance of self-care and personal responsibility.
