My Students

I teach at a school in the mountains in a very supportive community. My students, like all students right now, are working hard to adjust and catch up during this crazy time. As their teacher, I want to relight their fire about education.

I am actively working on ways to get my students excited about school again.

I want to help them get caught up while letting them be kids and have fun this year. Because of this goal, I am hoping to introduce many academic based games, activities, and projects in the classroom.

My Project

I am creating this project to get us all suited up and ready for the sunshine that is bound to come after this rough winter. Since we live in a winter wonderland, the kids have to spend many recesses inside or outside bundled up in jackets, gloves, hats, and snowboots.

Once the weather warms up and as the snow melts, I want to get my students outside as often as I can.

This project that is filled with potential, is the key to help us have more structured fun in the sun.
