My Students

What a wonderful bunch of students, who try so hard to accomplish all they can accomplish with what they have.

100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many are faced with challenges.

At our school we have a diverse group of students including many military students. Some of the students have been faced with many challenges. We help our students focus when they come to school by providing them with the necessary tools that they need to succeed. All students deserve an education and we as teachers have to make sure we provide and show up for them every day.

Having a place where they can enjoy learning and love education is where I come in. When the students enter my classroom. I want them to be eager to learn. It is my duty to help my students feel as safe and at home every time they enter the classroom.

My Project

The place value kits, fraction and base ten math manipulatives will enhance my student's mathematical concepts.

The math manipulatives will be used to present a visual math aid that will help make math concrete.

It will give my students an hands on experience that would increase their math skills and knowledge. It will help my students confirm their reasoning. Students will use the place value kits, fractions and base ten manipulatives in groups settings and during intervention.

Math manipulatives will make learning math interesting and enjoyable in our wonderful classroom
