My Project

The Thesaurus/Synonym Wall will be a dedicated space where students can explore a wide range of words and their synonyms, encouraging them to use more varied and precise language in their writing. I plan to use the acrylic shelves to display thesauruses next to a display of common words and synonyms for those words. My class does a variety of writing projects throughout the year and introducing them to new materials like a thesaurus will enrich their vocabulary and also be a huge benefit for my English Language Learners in my classroom. By engaging with the Thesaurus Wall, students will not only improve their writing but also develop a deeper appreciation for the nuances of the English language.
