We read several novels in my freshman English class. The graphic novels will provide additional support for the novels that we read during freshman year. Some students struggle with reading and visualizing what is happening in the novel. The graphic novels will assist students to easily visualize the story and be able to follow the plot better.
I want to stock my room with the supplies my students need in order to support them in their learning.
The supplies will be used by the students in the classroom to improve their writing skills, analyze text, and collaborate with their peers for their learning. Students are constantly needing paper, pencils, and pens for writing. Sticky notes and highlighters are helpful for analyzing texts.
