Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in my project will support students in early stages of learning. The phonics books will support students identifying letters, sounds, word families, blends. I have included magnetic letters, spelling mats and dry erase boards for students to practice spelling out their sight words. I have also included basic writing materials and art supplies that students can use in their daily assignments, activities and projects. A laminator will used to create reusable worksheets for students to practice writing and reading. A literacy organizer will ensure all assignments and activities for the week are neatly placed. When students are absent, they will be given assignments they have missed. This way they have a chance to catch up on activities we've completed.

All of these materials can be used during mini lessons and small groups where students receive more focused instruction that target specific skills.

Our students will be excited and eager to learn with materials that will enhance their learning experience.
