My Project

I am an Intervention Teacher and I work with Primary Promise Students (students at risk). Some of them have struggled for years in acquiring early literacy foundational skills.

The benefits of learning with letter manipulatives are incredible.

Concepts and ideas become something students can see and manipulate. (Let's not mistake alphabet pieces for being toys.) The different colors help students visualize the different roles that letters have. I want to be able to provide all the tools and strategies necessary for my students to learn to read so they can then read to learn!
