My Project

In today's fast-paced, technology-driven world, supporting the mental health of high school girls is more crucial than ever. Our initiative, "Supporting Tech-Free High School Girls' Mental Health Development," aims to create a nurturing environment where students can explore their emotions and build resilience through engaging, hands-on activities.

We recognize that the pressures of social media and constant connectivity can impact mental well-being, leading to anxiety and feelings of isolation.

Our program focuses on fostering genuine connections and self-expression without the distractions of technology. Through age-appropriate incentives, we encourage participation in activities like journaling, crafting friendship bracelets, and creative arts and crafts projects. These activities not only provide an outlet for self-discovery but also promote mindfulness and emotional regulation.

Journaling will allow students to reflect on their thoughts and feelings, while crafting will enhance their creativity and provide a sense of accomplishment. By making friendship bracelets, girls can forge lasting bonds with their peers, promoting teamwork and social interaction in a supportive environment.

In addition, our reading sessions will introduce literature that resonates with their experiences, sparking discussions about self-esteem, relationships, and mental health. This holistic approach empowers young women to prioritize their mental well-being while building a community of support.
