Fostering Family Connections and Student Responsibilty

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This year marks most of my students' first school experience. They are coming to me eager to learn, curious, ambitious, and full of energy. Almost all of my students are from low-income households and need help in securing supplies that will help foster learning in school.

School-to-home Organizers will help facilitate teacher-parent communication and foster responsibility in my young students.

The magnetic dry eraser boards and markers will help my students stay engaged and interact with our lessons. The other materials in this project are essentials my students will use every day in the classroom and in their homes.
