This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of these materials will greatly impact my young learners pre-reading and early literacy skills. In my classroom, I strive to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where my young learners can build on their social-emotional, cognitive, and literacy skills. My classroom is more than just a place for learning, it's a community where every child feels valued, respected, and inspired. To achieve this, we're working to equip our classroom with resources that will support their learning all year long. Not only in their literacy skills but in the other domains. The HP-OfficeJet 80152 Printer will not only allow me to support my young learners' early literacy skills but will also allow me to teach them Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, and more. I have seen how excited they get to locate bins on their own and identify letters using colored pictures as references and clues. My young learners come from different cultures and backgrounds which I would love to share around the classroom, one of my main goals is to decorate the classroom with inclusive and positive imagery and resources. Another goal I have for my young learners is to develop their early literacy skills, which would be supported by creating labels for the classroom. These labels created from these materials would support letter and word recognition, vocabulary development, environmental print awareness, print direction, and the concept of a word.
