My Students

Amazing, vivacious, curious, great big bundles of energy.

My kids are mostly from a low socioeconomic background and come from a plethora of ethnic, cultural and academic backgrounds.

My ICT class has children who have various disabilities and as a result a wide range of needs.

They love being able to create things especially since many of them struggle with writing and have recently created books, holiday posters and even poems illustrating their talents and also what they've learned in class.

Your donation will go a very long way in helping me show my kids the many ways they can be amazing!

My Project

Encourage Participation and allow students who may not do well academically to SHINE!!!!These simple supplies will allow me as an educator more flexibility in designing lessons that foster an all-inclusive classroom. It would also create excitement, increase attendance and give my kids a sense of achievement!!

Our students have been learning about literary elements/devices since the beginning of the school year and about the impact, they have in the written word.

These supplies will help them recreate famous and well-known fairy tales while including various examples of literary elements/devices. The cardstock will make up the pages of their book because of its durability, scissors, crayons, and markers will help them decorate its pages.

Ms. B. High School for Civil Rights Grades 9-12
