Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Their love of reading inspires many of my students to immerse themselves with a great book. With more resources, I hope to foster, instill and encourage a continuous passion for reading and an outlet for my students to express themselves through reading.

These books will help my students continue their interest and love of reading.

They will be using these as independent reading books, both in school and at home. These books will help me establish libraries in each of my three classrooms, as the children rotate in for English Language Arts.

These books will be used in school and at home to analyze characterization, practice summarizing, and break down the many features a novel could have.

The titles of these specific books were on a wish list of titles created by some of my students.
