Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will learn how to be an author! They will write a story of their choosing, we will correct it together and then they will write it again as nice as they can. Once they add the illustrations and color it, they will be ready to be published. We will bind their story into a book with a front and back cover, so it will be protected.

The goal of this project is to help students love to write and understand the process that authors do to create a book.

The magnetic strips will be used to help the students organize their thoughts while writing the story.
