My Project

Our school is a Title I school that tries to give students real-world experiences. This Glowforge Aura would allow students in my 7th and 8th grade technology classes to create their own projects and watch them come alive on the Glowforge. Students in Graphic Design would create their own school-based materials. Our students would be able to see the process from design stage on paper to computer and end with an actual printed/cut project to show others. Students will learn about finance and running a business as well as designing.

We would be able to give our students a chance to implement technology that they may not otherwise see with the Glowforge.

By including the filter, we are able to house the laser in my classroom for easy access for all of my students. Students thrive in classes they can be creative and do project-based learning. There are many uses for the machine, and we would be honored if you chose our project to support!
